Comak trainings utilize a combination of lecture-style presentations, interactive open discussions, practical demonstrations including role plays, engaging video and audio-visual materials, as well as collaborative group exercises. Upon the successful conclusion of the training, all course participants will receive certificates that have been officially recognized and approved by the Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety Services(DOSHS).

Types of training

The Comak training team organizes environmental awareness programs aimed at providing your staff with essential skills and knowledge related to the environment.

Providing training to the staff in environmental awareness is anticipated to significantly enhance their capabilities and foster a stronger sense of organizational awareness regarding the environment and safety. We provide on-site fire safety training for your firefighting team. Legal regulations mandate that every workplace establish a fire safety team, which must receive fire safety training from trainers approved by DOSHS, in accordance with sections 20 and 21 of the Fire Risk Reduction Rules, 2007. Our skilled and certified fire safety trainers will conduct this training at your location.

Comak First Aid Training imparts proficient first-aid skills to the workplace's first aid team. This team is fully equipped with the necessary procedures, expertise, and knowledge to effectively handle potential first aid incidents and emergencies that could occur within the workplace.

Training Scope

The training can be conducted for either all employees, a particular group, or a specific department, based on your preferences. The training location can be either on-site or at a mutually agreed upon venue.

Terms of Reference

The Comak first aid training team will commit to the following actions:

  1. Deliver first aid training in accordance with the approved syllabus for DOSHS first aid training.
  2. Furnish certificates that are officially recognized and endorsed by the Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety Services to all course participants upon the successful completion of their training.

Comak offers Occupational Health and Safety training specifically designed for your Health and Safety committee. This training can be held at your location or at a mutually agreed venue. It aligns with the stipulations outlined in Section 9 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2007, and complies with the mandates of Legal Notice No. 31 (Health and Safety Committee Rules) of 2004, overseen by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOHSS).

Our seasoned and certified health and safety advisors will lead the training, following the curriculum (available for viewing through DOHSS) established by the Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety Services (DOHSS).

Anticipated outcomes include the enhancement of staff skills and expertise in occupational safety and health, leading to the advancement of their technical knowledge and capabilities in organizational safety awareness. Furthermore, the training will foster a culture where all staff, empowered by the trained safety and health committees, assume personal accountability for safety in every aspect of their work.

  5. Furnish certificates that are officially recognized and endorsed by the Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety Services to all course participants upon the successful completion of their training.
